In these fast paced times Harcum can help you build a bridge between who you are today and who you will be tomorrow. We offer two Pathways to help you accomplish this mission.

If you have a goal in mind, the first Pathway helps you launch a rewarding career in just two years. The second gives you time to discover your interests and strengths while gathering college credits.

Each Pathway has programs geared to the needs of the economy, the workplace, and society. Nothing is static at Harcum. Our curriculum is constantly reviewed to insure that our students are competitive in the marketplace. Our faculty members are friendly and approachable, and teaching is done on a very personal basis. We feature small classes taught by professors not teaching assistants as is the case at many colleges.

Harcum has a tradition of academic excellence and outstanding career preparation primarily, but not exclusively, for women. That was the case in 1915, when Harcum comprised five students and three pianos, and still is today in our state-of-the-art multimedia classrooms.

Getting Started
College is a brand new adventure. It is a time for exploring opportunities, making friends, and enjoying the excitement of being really on your own. You will undoubtedly have questions, especially in the first year. To help get the most out of your new experience, Harcum provides one-on-one counseling. Advisors are available to listen to your ideas, sympathize with your concerns, and arrange for additional academic support if you need it.

Beyond The Classroom
Many students look forward to living on a college campus. Harcum has attractive dormitories where a strong sense of community spirit thrives. There are numerous student clubs and organizations where you can discover new areas of interest and develop new skills.
