What is in a room? All rooms on Harcum's campus are set up for two students. Each room has a tile floor, heat, air conditioning, overhead lighting, and blinds. Each student has their own bed, desk, desk chair, built in closet, built in dresser, and built in shelving in the room. Both residence halls have wireless internet and local phone service included. All rooms have cable hook up but service is not provided. Comcast is our local provider and is available on campus during move in to sign students up with cable service. All rooms are suite style which means that two rooms share a bathroom. There is no housekeeping of the bathrooms so it is up to the students to develop a cleaning schedule of this space. Types of Housing
All rooms are set up as double rooms, students can opt to have a single room for an additional $500 a semester. Both Klein and Pennswood have males and females living in the buildings. The 2nd floor of Pennswood and the 3rd floor of Klein are solely female rooms. The 2nd floor of Klein is solely male. The third floor of Pennswood is male and female separated on opposite sides of the floor. We offer a quiet study floor available on the 3rd floor Klein hall where all students must abide by strict quiet/study hours. A Vet Tech learning community is available to vet tech students. Here they can live together and participate in programs with Vet Tech faculty outside of the classroom. Laundry
Both Klein and Pennswood Hall have laundry facilities. In Pennswood the laundry is located in the basement and in Klein it is located on the second floor.
