The Educational Support Center (ESC) at Harcum College provides enrolled students with Academic Tutoring services in a setting located on the second floor of the Academic Center. This highly visible learning lab is well equipped with computers linked with the Harcum network. Students are welcome to utilize the center for research projects, create a document, or explore the world of work.
The ESC staff is available weekdays to support students with tutoring in most subjects. Professional and Peer tutors meet with students one on one and in small groups. Course content and management, study skills, reading, writing, time management and test taking skills are typical topics covered.
The ESC has assistive technology and computer aided tutorials, CD's, Videos, as well as traditional strategies to aid learning. The ESC staff listens to the student's needs and looks for an appropriate method of tutoring.
