BRYN MAWR, PA (December 19, 2006) – Harcum College (www.harcum.edu) announces that it will be open for business on the weekends.
The College will host “First Saturdays,” Saturday hours for Admissions and Financial Aid, beginning in February 2007 in order to provide a service to time-crunched prospective students.
The Harcum Admissions and Financial Aid offices will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of February, March, April, and May. In order to further accommodate the schedules of prospective and current students, Admissions will also be open on Saturday, January 6.
“By providing more flexible times for interviews and admissions sessions, we feel that we can reach out to more potential students,” says Nicola C. DiFronzo-Heitzer, MS, and Dean of Admissions at Harcum. “Our career information nights are held in the evenings, so it made sense to create ‘First Saturdays.’” For those who may work during the week, DiFronzo-Heitzer adds that, “this event allows individuals who are otherwise occupied to visit us and see what educational opportunities we offer.”
First Saturdays will take place at 10 a.m. on February 3, March 3, April 7, and May 5 at Melville Hall, the main administrative office building on Harcum’s Main Line Campus. To register for an admissions session or for more information, please contact the Admissions office at 610-526-6050 or by e-mail at enroll@harcum.edu. |
