Harcum was recognized for its innovative “green” renovation of the Academic Center building in an October 23 Philadelphia Business Journal story.
The story, which also appeared in other editions of the Business Journal, highlighted the work of contractors A.T. Construction, and the oversight of then-Director of Human Resources and Legal Affairs Julia Ingersoll and Interior Design Program Director Heidi Techner to guide the project and select and utilize “green” flooring and paint, energy-saving lighting and other materials for the renovation. President Jon Jay DeTemple discussed in the story Harcum’s other efforts in recycling and energy conservation.
