Bryn Mawr, PA (October 17, 2007)--The Harcum College men's basketball team has been ranked 6th nationally in the NJCAA Division II Preseason Poll released today.  The Bears return just one starter from last season's team that finished with a 30-3 overall record and captured the NJCAA Region 19 championship. 

Mott Community College from Flint, Michigan, the defending national champion, claimed the #1 national ranking.  Several Harcum opponents also received national recognition.  Region 19 rival Lackwanna College is ranked 12th.  The Bears travel to in-season tournaments at #3 Monroe Community College and #7 Cecil College.  Harcum will tip-off its season November 10th against 18th-ranked Erie Community College.  To view the complete poll, click here.
