Gray's Shot Helps Harcum Down #6 Cincinnati State

Rochester, N.Y.(December 2, 2007)--Harcum College freshman guard Julius Gray (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) connected on a three-point shot with 2.1 seconds remaining to give Harcum College (8-0) a thrilling 69-66 victory over #6 Cincinnati State Tech (6-2) in the championship game of the George Monagan Tournament at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York.

Brandon Smalls carried the Bears' offense, as he connected on six three point field goals and finished with 28 points, the only Harcum player in double figures.  Smalls also led Harcum with 9 rebounds.  Trent Calloway finished with a game-high 33 points for Cincinnati State.

Harcum returns home Tuesday night for their Region 19 opener against Burlington County College in Klein Hall.  The women tip-off at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 7 p.m.
