Overview

The Harcum College General Studies program is designed for those students who expect to transfer to a four-year college or are undecided about a specific program of study and wish to explore a variety of academic fields. The core curriculum permits specialized, individual planning through the selection of electives. Students may design an individual major suited to their interests.

Women's Studies

Students have the option of taking a 15 credit Women's Studies Minor. The Women's Studies minor is comprised of three required Women's Studies courses and two electives, which may be selected from an approved list of options.

Business Minor

Students have the option of taking a 16 credit minor in business. The Business Minor is comprised of three required business courses and the two business electives of the student's choice Having a minor in Business will enhance any degree as well as give the student an extra advantage when looking for employment.

Admissions Requirements:

  • Completed Application form
  • Minimum combined SAT score of 750
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • $50 Application fee
  • Official high school transcripts
  • SAT scores
  • TOEFL scores (for international applicants)
  • Official college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Written Essay
  • Letter of Recommendation
