Alex Graver

Head Coach

Alex Graver comes to Harcum after a two year stint as the top assistant at Council Rock North High School. He joined the girls staff and turned around a program which had only won 6 games in 2013. In 2014, CRN won 13 games and advanced to the District playoffs. In 2015, the Indians won 16 games and advanced to the State Quarter-Finals. They were named Southeastern PA Coaching Staff of the Year for their efforts.

Prior to Council Rock, Graver was the Director of Soccer Operations for one season with the Men’s team at Temple University. Once again, Graver was part of an award winning staff, as the Owls staff was named the American Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.   

As a player, Graver graduated from Palmerton High School, where he was a four-year letter winner. During his high school career, Graver was named First Team All-League in three straight seasons. He was also named to the Morning Call All Area 1st Team in his senior campaign. He played Club Soccer for VE, in Warminster, PA where he captained the 2009 PA State Championship Team. In 2009, his VE team climbed to #10 in the National Rankings and competed in the prestigious Dallas Cup and Disney Showcase Tournaments. In addition, he was a member of the 1991 ODP program. Following high school, Graver attended Mount Saint Mary’s University, where he was a four year starter. In his rookie season, he was named to the UMBC All-Tournament team. He graduated from the Mount with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management.

Graver is a Nationally Licensed Coach who also coaches and trains teams at Montgomery United Soccer Club in Lansdale, PA.
