Harcum College - A Centennial History

Harcum College

An 80-page history of Harcum College by Anders Back, Director of Internal Communications and Publications, complete with dozens of color and archival photos, which will be published in October 2016.

“This book is a tribute to the many trustees, presidents, faculty, and staff who devoted their time, creativity, and hard work to make a Harcum education and degree relevant and valuable to students and alumni during the past century. It will encourage interest and further study and help lead to the development of a comprehensive archive that brings together the many strands of Harcum’s unique history.” – Dr. Jon Jay DeTemple, President

“Anders Back has done an amazing job writing the history of Harcum, which reads so well and shows the development of the College. At times, it was almost like reading a novel, as he writes about what was going on in the outside world and its effect on Harcum.” – Louise Strauss, Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees
