2024-2025 Men's Soccer Season Recap
(March 21, 2025) -- The Men’s Soccer Team had a remarkable season, finishing with a record of 12 wins, one loss, and one draw. The Bears were dominant at home, going 4-0 on their home turf. They claimed the NJCAA East District Championship by defeating Harford Community College 3-1 and secured the 8th seed in the NJCAA DI National Tournament.
In their tournament debut, the Bears triumphed over Coastal Bend College with a narrow 1-0 victory. However, they faced a tough match against the eventual champions, Iowa Western Community College, where they lost 2-1. The season was highlighted by the recognition of two NJCAA All-Americans, Zsombor Páll and Touhami Bel-Hadj. Kingsley Annan Baah, Fernando Laserna, and Max Asplin-Rowley earned NJCAA Region 19 First-Team honors.
Zsombor Páll led the team with an impressive 51 total points, scoring 22 goals and providing 7 assists. Max Asplin-Rowley contributed with 15 total points, including 5 goals and 5 assists, while Emil Collatz added 14 total points with 8 assists and 3 goals. In goal, Noah Djebali made 39 saves with an impressive save percentage of 79%.
Overall, the Bears showcased exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the season, making it one to remember as they laid a strong foundation for future success.
