All students, faculty, and staff driving to and parking a motor vehicle on Harcum College property must register the vehicle with the Campus Safety department and obtain a parking permit.
To register your vehicle, use the Vehicle Registration Form. Once you have completed the online registration process you will receive an electronic receipt via email. Please bring the receipt with you when you pick up your parking permit. Permits can be obtained from one of the Campus Safety offices located in Pennswood Hall (south lobby) or in Klein Hall (Room 107). Parking permits will be available to all student registrants during the first week of classes in both the fall and spring semesters. Outside of these times, permits may be picked up from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Administrators, faculty, and staff should register their vehicle with Campus Safety on their first day of employment with the College.
Vehicles that have not been properly registered with Campus Safety are in violation of the Harcum College parking policy and are subject to being ticketed. Fines for parking without a permit are charged to the student’s account with the College. Students receiving multiple tickets for violations of the parking permit policy or any other safe driving protocols, will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct. Students referred to Student Conduct are subject to losing their privilege to drive any vehicle on Harcum College property.
Valid parking permits are to be displayed in your vehicles’ driver side rear window. If your vehicle has tinted glass your permit may be displayed in the front windshield on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Permits are not to be displayed in any other area of the vehicle.
Students purchasing a permit for either the fall or spring semester only should register their vehicle with Campus Safety prior to the start of each semester. Students obtaining an academic year permit should purchase their permit prior to the fall semester only. Permits purchased for one semester only expire at the end of the semester.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, permit prices are as follows: $45.00 - Per Semester $80.00 - Per Academic Year $10.00 - Each Additional Vehicle
