GENERAL BUSINESS HOURS

College administrative offices will be open as follows:

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays (May 23 to August 15, 2025)

Please note that these are general hours to indicate when the public can expect offices to be open during the academic year and the summer. This does not indicate individual work hours. For salaried staff, expectations are based on the work to be accomplished and a minimum 40-hour work week. For hourly staff, expectations are based on approved standard hours.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

In addition to paid time off benefits of vacation, personal, and sick time, Harcum provides time off for major holidays. Throughout the year including Christmas and New Year times*, employees need to obtain advance approval for vacation and personal time including summer Fridays**.

During Christmas and New Year’s week when offices are open, only core staffing is planned.
**Summer schedule of Friday closing at 2:00 p.m. effective May 23 to August 15, 2025.
Both Christmas / New Years and summer schedules rely on supervision working closely with staff to assure adequate coverage and work completed.
