This award recognizes an individual for outstanding achievement in her or his life, personal integrity and lasting contributions to their chosen profession. This award is the highest honor given by the Alumni Association.
Hillary Ripps ’66 - Early Childhood Education
Shortly after graduating, Hillary established a successful production career in Los Angeles. She worked on several films and helped start a production company that influenced the re-emergence of the short-film format. Her company was nominated for 11 Academy Awards and won three. Hillary won her own Oscar for her work as executive producer on the short film “12:01.” Hillary is an active member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, and currently works at Julien’s Auction House, the premier auction house featuring celebrity and entertainment memorabilia. She is also a committed volunteer for the Hollywood Ronald McDonald House and Guide Dogs of America.
