OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (OTA) Degree: A.S. As a graduate of the Occupational Therapy Assistant degree program, you will use every-day life activities to help people of all ages prevent, lessen, or overcome disabilities that interfere with their ability to lead independent and satisfying lives. WHY STUDY THIS PROGRAM? The OTA Associate’s degree program is convenient to both full-time or part-time students. Your hands-on lab experiences will be one day/week in safe structured environments, supported by online assignments during the week and core educational courses offered weekdays, evenings, or online. You will have an in-depth clinical component including four days of field work experiences during the first, second, and third semesters and two (2) eight-week, full-time clinical placements in your final semester. Graduates of the program are then eligible to take the national licensure examination. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN In your OTA courses, you will develop the knowledge and skills to work under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist. Your curriculum includes courses in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, medical terminology, occupational dysfunction in children and adults, and quantitative reasoning, to name a few courses.

COST & SCHOLARSHIPS Students accepted into the OTA program for Fall 2024, are eligible to receive the OTA Grant. This grant provides an automatic 30% off full-time tuition and 20% off part-time tuition for the Academic Year.
