DENTAL ASSISTING WITH EFDA Degree: A.S. This program will prepare you to function efficiently as an integral member of the dental team by providing various educational experiences under the direct supervision of a dentist. WHY STUDY THIS PROGRAM? With a degree in Dental Assisting with EFDA, you will have many options to grow professionally and expand your career in the dental care field. Almost all graduates of the Dental Assisting with EFDA program become a certified Dental Assistant and work in dental offices. This field is expected to grow faster than the average for many occupations, at 7% a year. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN In your Dental Assistant courses, you will learn to perform specific procedures on patients, expose radiographs, assist chairside, prepare and deliver dental materials, and participate in laboratory procedures.
